Some dog owners still believe that dog jackets are purely a fashion accessory and that no dog truly needs a jacket, because their fur offers protection from wind, wet and cold. However, this is wrong. Therefore, we have developed a broad range of dog jackets and dog sweater over the years, both for the cool days of spring and autumn as well as for cold winter days. We employ innovative, high-quality materials, which are also used in outdoor wear for humans. Our jackets are wind- and waterproof, breathable and washable. Our dog wear is free of hazardous chemicals

It is important to us that our functional dog wear offers lasting protection against wet and dirt, so you and your dog will enjoy the product for a long time. We do not use perflourocarbons (PFC). These hazardous chemicals are frequently used in the outdoor field for manufacturing waterproof membranes as well as water and dirt-repellent coatings. However, we completely forego PFC for the welfare of humans, animals and the environment and instead use the environmentally friendly ecorepel®-waterproofing. This is a certified waterproofing system, which protects fabric perfectly from wet and watery dirt. The ecorepel® system imitates the natural water-repellent protection of duck feathers and ensures that the products remain clean and dry. This technology is particularly environmentally friendly, free of fluorocarbons and biodegradable.

Special dog jackets for pugs, bulldogs or dachshunds

Every dog is special and unique in their own way, therefore a single jacket cut does not fit every dog. But why does my dog need a protective and warming jacket?

As with humans, dogs have differing sensitivity to cold. This is independent of race and size. If your dog has a short fur and therefore also little warming underfur, your dog will quickly be cold, especially once they get older. This applies to dachshunds, boxers or pugs. But long-haired dogs can be sensitive to cold as well, for example if their fur has just been trimmed.

Dog jackets for older dogs, puppies or active and sporty dogs

A warm jacket can offer relief during the daily walk particularly for older dogs, if they suffer from back pain or a weakened immune system. The jacket protects the body and prevents the wet from soaking the fur and the skin. But protection against wet and cold in winter in the form of a suitable jacket is also important for puppies whose immune system is not yet fully developed. How do I recognise if my dog needs a jacket?

Closely watch your dog on a cold day with wind, rain or snow. Hereby, the way your dog moves is important: If your dog is tense, pulls up their back like a cat or tugs their tail under their belly, they are probably cold. A visible muscular shiver is highly typical and also an important clue. At the very least, when your dog does not want to go out anymore at all, you can be certain that your dog would like a warming jacket.
