To get you started, we've compiled a list of just 27 of North Jersey's many dog-friendly breweries, bars and restaurants, because it may be impossible to name them all. Bolero Snort Brewery, Carlstadt

Bolero Snort is known for unique flavors of sours and names like Orange Vanilla Bullsicle, The Pirates Don't Eat The Tourists and I Saw Him Beat Up A Guy With A Starfish. Previously, dogs were only allowed at the brewery on the patio next to the main tasting room. But recently, the rules were updated to allow well-behaved dogs — who are used to people and loud noises — inside the main tap room. All they ask is that dogs do not sit on the brewery's couches.

Hours: 1 to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday; noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Featuring a beachy theme with light blue benches and surfer decor, The Love of Grub is a breakfast, lunch and brunch spot known for plates of comfort food, including apple fritters with powdered sugar and biscuits and gravy.
